Our Mission

The Happy Pappy Foundation is a community-led 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to strengthening youth and families. We uplift underrepresented populations through art, education, and collective care, cultivating spaces where folx feel seen, supported, and connected.

Rooted at the intersection of mental health, social justice, and faith, the foundation embraces a holistic approach to fostering stability, healing, and empowerment.

We’re Tabling at Models of Pride 2025!

The Happy Pappy Foundation is proud to announce that we’ll be joining Models of Pride 2025 — the world’s largest free conference for LGBTQ+ youth and allies! Hosted by the Los Angeles LGBT Center, this inspiring event brings together young people, parents, educators, and community leaders for a full day of empowerment, performances, and celebration.

Come visit our table to learn more about our work, connect with our team, and grab some free resources, affirming goodies, and positive vibes. Let’s celebrate identity, creativity, and community — together.

Hosted by Civics Is Sexy in partnership with the NAACP, this event celebrates culture, creativity, and social change through film, dialogue, and shared purpose.

Backpacks & Cuts

This year’s Backpacks & Cuts event was a beautiful success — a true reflection of what community care looks like in action. Together, we served over 100 people, giving away free backpacks filled with school supplies and gender-affirming products, offered free haircuts, served meals, and created a space of love, healing, and connection for youth and families across Los Angeles.

We’re already preparing for Backpacks & Cuts 2026 — and we need your help to make it even bigger and better! 💛

Your donations, whether monetary or in-kind (school supplies, backpacks, hygiene kits, refreshments, etc), help us equip more students, support local barbers and stylists, and build the kind of community our kids deserve.
